All our classes are based on the academic year, starting in the fall and ending with the spring semester. Summer classes are conversational in nature and designed to enhance the regular fall and spring semesters – please see our calendar of classes.

For ALL Adult Classes: We recommend a good German /English dictionary.
Textbooks used vary by class, and information regarding their purchase or rental will be provided by the teacher. No textbook is required for the conversational summer session.
Beginner Class 1
Prerequisites:
* For students who have no prior knowledge of German
Beginner Class 2
Prerequisites:
* For students who have completed Beginner 1
Intermediate Class 1
Prerequisites:
* For students who have completed Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 classes of German
* For students who have spent some time in Germany or comparable experience, or had previous instruction and wish to improve their skills
Intermediate Class 2
Prerequisites:
* For students who have completed Beginner 1-2 and Intermediate 1 class of German
* For students who have spent some time in Germany or comparable experience, or had previous instruction and wish to improve their skills
Advanced Class
Prerequisites:
* For students who have completed Beginner and Intermediate classes of German
* For students who have spent considerable time in Germany or comparable experience and wish to improve their skills
* Note: This class can be repeated multiple times
Kindergarten Class (currently not offered)
Prerequisites:
* This class is recommended for 5-6 year olds
– Students must be at least 5 years old by September 1.
* For students who have no prior knowledge of German
1st Grade Class (currently not offered)
Prerequisites:
* This class is recommended for 6-7 year olds
* For students who have completed Kindergarten Class
2nd Grade Class (currently not offered)
Prerequisites:
* This Class is recommended for 7-8 year olds
* For students who have completed 1st grade Class
Summer Beginner Conversational Class
Prerequisites:
* Note: This class is a Conversational only class. Focus will be on speaking.
* For students who have no prior knowledge of German
Summer Intermediate Conversational Class
Prerequisites:
* Note: This class is a Conversational only class. Focus will be on speaking.
* For students who have had Beginner Conversational Classes
Summer Advanced Conversational Class
Prerequisites:
* Note: This class is a Conversational only class. Focus will be on speaking.
* For students who have completed Beginner and Intermediate classes of German
* For students who have spent considerable time in Germany or comparable experience and wish to improve or maintain their skills
Tuition payment is due 30 days before the start of each semester. A late fee (currently $20 – check the website for updates) will be added to anyone who hasn’t paid by 30 days prior. We accept credit card or PayPal at our online store or you can pay with Cash or Check during registration.
